College Hockey & College Baseball Need To Be On Your Radar

Football and basketball are elite, but hockey and baseball are making their way to that tier also…

I am watching the electric NCAA men’s frozen four national championship game between Boston University and Western Michigan University. This game is giving off the perfect pre-NHL playoff jitters that I need going into our Oilers playoff run this year.

College football and college basketball give us some of the best, most entertaining moments in the sporting calendar year, each and every year. And for some reason hockey and baseball do the same, but us as Canadians never get to see it. I’m grateful to have a TV box that provides me with some US channels where I can watch some American sports not everybody has access to.

Our world is full of illegal streams whether it’s for UFC, and Oilers game if you don’t have cable, or even that cricket match at 3 AM when you owe your booking money the following day. If you’re a sports fan, who’s into college football or basketball, I truly hope you read the end of this blog so that we can petition the NCAA into getting Canadian views on hockey and baseball college sports.

If you’re reading this NCAA, or TSN or Sportsnet, please someone get on top of providing us more NCAA men’s hockey and more NCAA men’s baseball. The frozen four and the college World Series are two unbelievably exciting tournaments. You could put them up there with the college football playoff and March madness tournament in terms of elite college sports tournaments.
