April Fools Is Overrated

Updated: Apr 7

Please read this article and sign the petition at the bottom to remove April Fools as a holiday...

I can't be the only person who thinks April Fools is overrated as a holiday right? I mean, you're really going to put April Fools in the same holiday echelon as Christmas and Thanksgiving?

Every year April Fools goes the same: I fall for 2-3 storylines that sound amazing and would love to be true, all for the person telling me them it is a practical joke of me. The I try to recreate my own later in the day all for no one to fall for it as everyone is on guard and searching out April Fools-type storylines.

Can we have a year where all April Fools jokes come to life and become reality? Wouldn't our world be a better place if we had all these incredibly enjoyable storylines that would better our lives to be true instead of a practical joke? Yes, this is coming from the man who still WANTS to believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy (sorry small children I spoiled this for just now).

I read so many storylines not only just in the world of sports but in my personal life that if they came true, I would be floating on Cloud Nine.

By commenting on this blog below you are signing a petition to whoever is in charge of holiday selections in our world to remove April Fools as a holiday OR to a magical wizard who for even one year can bring to life these deceptive stories and make our world a better place to live in.

Make it so Connor McDavid would come to my birthday party, or that the girl I low-key stalked in high school suddenly became single and had a thing for fat guys.

Comment below if this is a world you too wish to live in. SIGN TO END APRIL FOOLS!
